Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper upkeep, functionality, and safety of our equipment. Specific duties and responsibilities may vary but the general Key accountabilities of this role are outlined below.The Salary for this Job will be on a Salary band – Starting £30,000 to £33,225
Hours of Work – 41.25 hours on Shift rotation – Early 5:45 – 14:00 – Late 13:45 – 22:00
29 days paid holidays (Including BH) – Increasing with Service up to 32

Key Accountabilities
- Carry out planned and scheduled maintenance.
- Quick respond to break downs, fault finding both electrical and mechanical.
- Perform regular inspections including lubricating, adjusting, and replacing components.
- Performs safety checks to protect both equipment operators and the plant.
- Identify and fix issues such as faulty wiring, broken fixtures, or malfunctioning equipment.
- Replacements of consumable items, such as filters, belts, or lubricants.
- Testing and calibration of instruments to maintain accuracy and liability.
- Keep up to date maintenance record including booking parts.
- Managing cleaning crew prior or during maintenance.
Skills and Qualifications
- A must is a formal electrical and mechanical engineering qualification i.e., apprenticeship, Degree, HND, HNC, City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3.
- Must have workplace experience in a Mechanical, Electrical or Dual Skilled role.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to sustain and develop teamwork.
- Well organised and able to work unsupervised.
- Computer literacy, Microsoft Word, Excel; Outlook, ABACA PKG 3000
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Can do attitude.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour and lift heavy objects.
Warehouse Forklift Operatives
Working as part of the warehouse team the primary duties of the Warehouse Operative are to process incoming and outgoing goods as well as support the warehouse needs of the production team as required.
Salary from £11.81 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Finished goods are shrink-wrapped, palletised and labelled with appropriate documentation attached.
- Goods are prepared for storage in the warehouse, scanned using handheld scanners.
- Packed orders are consolidated into customer or carrier batches and placed into correct warehouse dispatch area ready for loading,
- Check the supply of stocks for machines and replenish as required while on duty on the production floor.
- Issue and delivery of daily materials (Board pallets & consumables pallets, including Ink) to all the relevant areas of the production floor.
- Performing quality control checks using the Quality Management system.
- Report on any defective materials or supplies.
- Support in any other production duties as required by management during busy periods.
- Carry all the necessary safety checks of all the warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Move waste bins in an out of production area to waste disposal containers using a forklift as necessary to make sure there is not overflow.
Skills and Qualifications
- Forklift certificate (B1 Counterbalance)
- Experience in a warehouse and distribution environment.
- Should be able to interpret a range of information on job instructions, orders, supplier documents, and any other applicable reference document.
- Good literacy, computer and numeracy skills, able to work with a variety of documentation and information systems to check and record information, including knowledge of barcoding and scanning devices.
- Good organisation skills, high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices, terminology and methods.
- Self-starter who can operate without direct supervision. Should have the ability to manage their time and complete assigned work competently and effectively within established timeframes.
- Understanding of safe work practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of hazards and control measures associated with undertaking warehouse dispatch processes.
- Should be a team player and have the ability to coordinate with fellow workers
Trainee Machine Operatives
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Trainee Machine Operator Programme. You will learn the operating procedures of our machinery:
- How to set up machines
- Working to product specifications
- Quality control and quality management of finished products
- Health and Safety aspects at work, working with machinery
